Hybrid DVD/HD-DVD disks arrive

THERE HAS BEEN much ado about porn in HD lately, and how it will decide the looming HD-DVD(HD) vs Blu-Ray(BR) wars.

Sony has slammed the door on Blu-Ray pr0n but HD is being embraced by the industry in all sorts of curious ways. Pun intended.

The latest of these is from TightFit Productions - not worksafe! - and its new line of hybrid disks. What it is offering is a double sided DVD with normal SD DVDs on on side and HD-DVD on the other. This is a lot harder to do with BD making HD all the more attractive.
