VIA C7 slims down a thin client

VXL minds its Ts and Cs
Wed Mar 14 2007, 10:46
TAIWANESE CHIP FIRM VIA Technologies, says its C7 processor has been adopted by VXL to power its new range of Itona TC43xx Series and TC45xx Series Thin Clients.

VIA reckons use of its chip helped VXL cut the thin client footprint by 40 per cent whilst remaining fanless and therefore quiet as a mouse.

Frank Noon, VP of Worldwide Sales at VXL boasted: "We were able to design clients with a superior feature set and fanless small form factor design." He can't have been drinking. µ
