Office 2007 delayed

Problems with the beta
Fri Jun 30 2006, 08:47
MICROSOFT has decided to delay its new Office 2007 product a few more months after beta users found shedloads of bugs.

A spokesVole said that Office 2007 will be released by the end of year 2006, with broad general availability in early 2007.

It is the second time that the date has been put back. It was supposed to ship in October 2006. Now it seems that the software will probably go out at the same time as Vista.

Microsoft has had more than 2.5 million people test its Office 2007 beta which superficially looks great. However in our experience it is a beta product with all sorts of surprising bugs and crashes.
