Athlon 2000 quicker than Athlon 2200

ACCORDING TO AMD's own documents, an Athlon XP 2000 outperforms an Athlon 2200 when running Unreal Tournament.

The chip maker has constructed some interesting data on its Web site to show how much quicker an Athlon is, compared to Intel's rival Pentium chips.

And, in the 3D Gaming section, when running Unreal Tournament at 1224x738x 32, the 2200 Athlon manages to appear a full one per cent slower than an Athlon 2000.

The rest of the configuration defeats our tired old eyes, but we do know the results were audited by Anderson, "a global leader in professional services".
