LAWYERS for AMD have been given an extension of time to answer a motion Intel put to a federal judge asking to dismiss elements of an antitrust motion.

The judge is being asked to grant AMD until the 26th of May to peruse all the papers Intel supplied in support of its motion that a chunk of the case falls outside the court's jurisdiction.

After AMD has filed its reply to such matters as to how Soy Sauce relates or does not relate to the case, Intel will have until June 9th to make its case that Monosodium Glutamate et al has relevance to microprocessors made in Germany. µ
