Vole prepares to dig itself a bigger burrow

Even bigger than Vista
Fri Jun 22 2007, 16:35
SOFTWARE GIANT, Microsoft is planning to tunnel a huge hole in its Redmond Vole hill.

The hole is going to be four stories deep, four football fields long and 1.5 football fields wide and will be developed into an underground car park for more than 5,000 cars.

The garage has been planned as part of the campus expansion first announced by the Vole in early 2005.

However, the idea is not particularly popular with Voles working at Redmond.

Apparently, they are already miffed that countless little Voles stuff up the nearby roads on their way out of the building every night. The prospect of 5000 more cars on the road is enough to get them squeaking suicidally.

The local media claims that the project will make Redmond the home of "the second-largest underground burrow garage in the western hemisphere".
