FIC intros Nvidia based motherboard

Nforce 2 board arrives

THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL CORP (FIC) told us it has started selling its AU11 motherboard for AMD processors and which uses the Nforce 2 chipset.

The AU11 supports Athlon XPs at clock speeds of 2.4GHz plus and up to three gigabytes of DDR 400 memory.

It comes with support for the 333MHz AMD system bus, support for AGP8X, 10/100 LAN, 5.1 compatible channel sound, six USB 2.0 ports and Firewire (IEE 1394).

The ATX board can also support DDR memory at speds of 200, 266, and 333, and comes with six PCI slots, said FIC.

It also comes with Novus BIOS utilities and software including Norton Anti Virus, Norton Ghost, and Norton Personal Firewall.
