The 1U system uses two Opterons supporting 64GB of DDR2 memory, a terabyte of S-ATA memory, and with one PCI-X and one PCIe X16 slot. These machines are aimed at supercomputing clusters.
The 3U machine will support four Opterons, 128GB of memory, 3TB S-ATA or 876GB SAS hot swap drives, two PCIe X16 and three PCI-X slots, redundant power supplies and fans.
