I DON'T know if this might be of any interest to readers. Someone is selling twelve 21-inch monitors for only £205.63, including free pallet delivery to mainland UK. This equates to £14.5+VAT, cheaper than any monitor you may find on ebay. Those guys got several dozens of them for sale so I reckon a system builder might get a nice buy fro these. Brands vary from Hitachi to Eizo. They have been tested and in good working order.p> You remember the 30PW850H30-inch Digital HDTV Widescreen monitor from Philips on sale which appeared in those columns some times back, Electronicsnation, is selling the same model for $375 with free shipping and the good thing is that they have it in stock - 13 of them. The 30PW850H has a true definition 1080i picture and all the marchitecture that you might expect from a brand like Philips. Really good value for a refurbished product.p> The gong for UK's cheapest newest laptop went to ebuyer this morning. They slashed the price of the Acer Travelmate 205LCi to a mere £331.90+VAT, which should equate to less than £400 with delivery and VAT. The laptop is a 1.4GHz Celeron M 360 with 256MB memory, a 40GB HDD, a DVD Combo, Wireless Lan and Win XP HE OS. Plus you get a 15-inch XGA screen and of course, a one year warranty. Better than Dell's Inspiron 1000. That's not all. Months if not Years ahead of ADSL2+ release in London and UK, they are releasing a Wireless Router with a built-in ADSL2/2+ modem for only £38.29. The SWAMR-54108 offers up to 108MBps transfer rate if used with any Texas Instrument chipset. It is a four port switch as well plus a list of features longer than this column.p> This has to be one of the cheapest new Socket 754 motherboards in the US. The ECS 760GX-M mATX motherboard comes with a SIS760GX integrated chipset. It has a build quality much better than the stuffs you used to get from PC Chips. It has two SATA connectors, one AGP and three PCI slots, 5.1 audio and onboard LAN and graphics. At $50.50, it is one of the better deals you may get. µ
