OCZ cools memory with heat pipes

Behold, it's the Reaper
Fri Feb 23 2007, 11:44
OCZ claims it is the first company to passively cool the memory with heat pipes.

The product is called the OCZ 8500 Reaper HPC and it will sell as a dual channel kit. As it doesn't have any moving parts it is completely silent. It plans to sell this memory as 2x1 GB kit.

It works at 1066 at 5-5-5-15 timings and 2.1 volts. You can overclock the voltage all the way to 2.4 V and you still won't lose a lifetime guarantee. You can see how it looks here. µ
