Directron sells the Zero-Footprint-PC Elite-4 PC System. As you can guess, it is a PC in a keyboard system without any mouse though So near to what I wanted... You get a CDROM drive as well as a whole computer integrated under a keyboard. Expansion is limited to a low profile PCI card but you do get loads of USB 2.0 as well as stereo speakers, a modem, LAN etc. Worth a look.
Looking for UK's cheapest 7800GTX? Can you best Dabs Inno3D offer? I bet not. At £286.80+VAT, Yankees would probably be better off buying it here than in their country and getting back VAT. The card comes with a 7800GTX chip clocked at 430MHz. With 24 pixels, dual DVI support and integrated HDTV encoder, there is not much on this planet which can compete with it. Put two of those in a Rig and watch your benchmarks fly.
Bigpockets sells a Philips Branded 16x DVD writer with Dual Layer support for £23.82+VAT. Just a little bit more and the £20 barrier will be shattered. The Philips PBDV1640G comes with 2MB memory and is currently the cheapest DVD writer in UK, even at resellers.
If you're looking for Britain's cheapest 19-inch monitor, then try the DiFusion P196; we wrote about it on the 21st and it seems that it has gone down a bit. £140.99+VAT is cheaper than Ebuyer and Ebay. It is a SXGA model with two speakers, a 16ms response time, three years on site warranty and a D Sub connector. My bet? Add a little bit more and get yourself two 17-inch LCDs. UK's cheapest 17-inch monitor is still on ebay. µ
