Nvidia stumps up $1,500,000 to Visiontek trustee

And so it ends
Mon May 08 2006, 10:43
A LONG running dispute between the trustees of Visiontek and Nvidia has come to a close with the graphics giant agreeing to stump up $1,500,000 in settlement of the case.

See Visiontek sues Mitac, Nvidia others for hundreds of millions and Nvidia, Mitac, others face Visiontek law suit.

After lengthy legal wrangles, the original 16 plaintiffs were boiled down to two - Nvidia and Hilton Sessel. The settlement stipulated that the trustee released Nvidia and Sessel from all future and present claims, but the other defendants could still face some action.

So all's well that ends badly - with the lawyers no-doubt as happy as kids in sandpits, and the settlement being far from the hundreds of millions originally claimed. µ
