Shedloads of high-tech jobs available in Iowa

What did Delaware, boys, what did Delaware?

WHILE THERE are large numbers of unemployed developers pan handling in the streets of LA, there are shed loads of IT jobs going begging, according to an Iowa local rag.

While many are sitting around moaning about how their outfit "off shored" their jobs to the East, hackette Donnelle Eller reckons that's because they have not thought of shifting to the State of Iowa, instead.

alt='iowa'Apparently tech outfits like Bay TPS, which needs P2P snoops, and is prepared to pay $21,000 to $70,000 are getting no takers. Eller said that in Iowa some companies are paying $125,000 annually to contract companies for experienced tech workers and looking overseas for potential workers.

The Technology Association of Iowa said that 80 per cent of its 200 members are looking for workers. It's astonishing and there's more in the Des Moines Register . µ
