Thu Apr 19 2007, 17:40
SOFTWARE GIANT Microsoft has swapped patents with the Korean telly maker Samsung.

The cross-licensing agreement means that Samsung will get Volish technology in its computers, digital media players, camcorders, televisions, printers, home appliances and television set-top-boxes.

Meanwhile the Vole will get its paws on Samsung's digital media and computer devices. According to Associated Press, the Vole has been doing similar deals with NEC, Fuji-Xerox, Seiko-Epson and Nortel and it is not clear what cunning move the Vole is planning yet. µ
