BOARD MAKER TYAN has a couple of things to show at the CeBIT show, we couldn't help but notice.

One is its eight way Opteron machine, or four by four as it was branded. This is the K8QW, which uses two boards to connect two set of four microprocessors.

The other item somewhat of interest is the Tomcat K7M Pro. This supports theAMD Geode NX, up to 2GB of unbuffered memory, integrated audio, integrated graphics and integrated LAN controllers.

It also includes two 32-bit 33MHz PCI 2.3 slots, and uses the FlexATX form factor.

More information on the latter is on the Tyan web site, here. ยต
