Lacie ready to sell terabyte hard drive

One month of continuous MPEG-2 vid
Sun Jan 18 2004, 19:35
JUST IN CASE you missed it, like us, Lacie said it will deliver a terabyte of storage space in the middle of February.

That, it says on its web site, will deliver up to one month of continuous MPEG-2 video. That's an aspiration that seems more like perspiration to us.

The drive is available for both Windows XP and Mac OSX, but also supports USB 2 as well as the two kind of Firewires.

You can daisy chain the $1,200* drives to each other to, if that is what you want.

There's more here. µ

* WE originally said $2K. Apologies.
