K8T890 motherboard reviews flood in

POWER SUPPLIES have regained their role as one of the most important components inside the casing. Xtremeresources reviews the Revoltec Star Serie Chromus II RPS-450V2. This 450W unit has a 120mm Quiet fan with speed control, and of particular interest a PCI-E connector.

Another review from this site covers the Thermaltake Soprano VB1000BWS casing which we talked about some times back. First class glossy finish, good cooling options and screwless design are its positive points.

Thermaltake gets another test from MVKtech. This time, the huge Armor case gets its chance to prove itself. Black finish, imposing size, side window coming as standard and water cooling ports are some of its attractions.

Yet another casing review comes from Creativemods. They have a look at the Silentium case which is an ATX mid tower with front mounted PSU and tool less drive rails as well as a host of details which make it more attractive than others; one of these being its absolutely loving finish.

It finally arrived... The K8T890 finally comes into flesh. The Soltek SL-K890Pro is the first one to come in, six months after initial reviews. Only four SATA devices are supported and there is no GbE Lan in view. So how does it fare against the nForce4?

Xbitlabs challenges the S3 GammaChromeS18 as Anton and Anna make a preview of it and investigates its potential impact on the competition and benefits for the consumer.

A second motherboard featuring the K8T890 is on test at hardcoreware. The Gigabyte K8VTY890-9 comes with an absurdly low MSRP which means that the chip itself is cheap. This entry level motherboard is bound to make its way in budget PCs. µ
