Company follows Samsung, LG

ASUSTEK JUST CAN'T stop sticking its fingers in new pies. From motherboards to monitors, thecompany has been expanding into other markets, occasionally neglecting customer support for wider product portfolio.

Teh firm's latest monitor, the LS201 is a 20-inch LCD with resolution of 1680x1050 pixels, but what stands out is 2000:1 contrast ratio, which is a definitely a nice feature to have. Is black on LCD finally becoming black? According to Asus, it is.

However, one thing still eludes Taiwanese companies and that is typos in press releases, leaked or not. According to Asus the "LS201 delivers share and clear images". We think that's sharp.

Asus will be showcasing this monitor, among other leather-clad products - in our favourite place in Germany, Everlasting Hangover, where CeBIT is to be held. Only three more weeks to go. Hope you are ready. µ
