And there's an open bar all day

LUGRADIO SAID there's a community Linux event being held at Wolverhampton on June 25th.

The organisers tell the INQ it's a non-commercial event aimed at open source enthusiasts rather than IT buyers of large corporations and will be a chance for people to have fun and socialise.

Here's some facts to highlight that. The event costs £5 for the day and there's an all day bar.

Other events include LAN gaming, a non-corporate exhibition area, a question time session and a live recording of LUG Radio.

Luminaries attending include Elite co-creator Ian Bell, CSS Javascript guru Simon Wilson, Sarah Ewen - who is the head of Playstation Linux at Sony, and many others.
