One of the words is "remember", which the Korean site attempts to spin into a story of unrequited love.
Microsoft's take on it is far simpler. "Remember" has the word "member" inside it, and that's a banned word, not because of the physical meaning of the word, but because people might masquerade as Microsoft staff.
The site extracted a list of other words banned as user names, and those include Microsoft, MSN, admin, message, messenger, engineer, executive, help and info.
Four letter words of a naughty nature are also banned, as well as contentious areas of the world like Scunthorpe.
