ATI releases Catalyst 5.8 for Radeon cards

ATI HAS RELEASED version 5.8 of its Catalyst drivers for the Radeon series graphics cards.

The new drivers offer Certified Output Protection Protocol (COPP) support which allows users to view high definition analog and digital content - to be released in the future - on select digital and analog displays

As well as that the driver has fixed several bugs specific to games such as Battlefield 2 and utilities like 3D Mark03. A full list of changes can be found here. µ
