PC World names worst PCs ever

Listing, but not badly
Friday, 23 March 2007, 10:30
HARRUMPH, you just hate it when journalists come up with "top 10" lists just to grab your short attention span?

Well, PC World has what is admittedly a pretty good one listing the worst PC designs ever. It includes the IBM PCjr as well as other tales from the PC crypt.

"Perhaps you had a system that isn't on this list but was so nightmarish Freddy Krueger would be scared to turn it on," writes Dan Tynan with just a hint of desperation. "We had to resort to Indian leg wrestling matches to settle on the final ten."

No, you didn't.

Just to be sure, you're hooked on the listing thing, PC World also has a 25 Worst Products of All Time roster. But just to show how over lists we are, we're not linking to it.

Now please can we get back to real journalism and away from these damn lists.ยต
