Slashdot wheregone?

We dunno, does anyone..

WE KNOW THAT slashdot.org was up yesterday morning British time because it linked to our Alpha story on the front page.

But since then, nary a ping out of the popular Web log site.

There's rumours aplenty on Usenet - this one -- for example.

But nothing definite... as yet... unless you lot know better. ยต
