"Laptops vastly outnumbered women" at Wikiparrot conference

THE BOSTON GLOBE reports on the gathering of a flock of Wikiparrots meeting last weekend at "Wikimania".

The mania bit is probably dead right, because as writer Kim-Mai Cutler reports, "laptops vastly outnumbered women" at this jamboree.

Kim-Mai had better be careful if she or he has a presence on Wikipedia, because some factions in the fractious world of the online psychopedia will try and delete you, just like they deleted The Everywhere Girl.

Some Wikiparrots have little or no sense of humour, as Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert found out the other week. µ
