Out Of Focus Group There were a few threads this week. I thought I'd condense them, all being about the same thing mostly. As usual there was much discussion about the location. Think they are just trying to go somewhere besides the Clachan, just to spite me. Was supposed to be at the Waterside, but somehow ended up at the Lincoln Lounge. Attendance was low, and Nary a Lucy in sight (as was promised). There was a rather interesting wardrobe choice by SKAFFMAN's "flatmate". The horror may be seen here.

Guests ROTO tried to stir up a little trouble, going after our silent majority. Nothing of much interest here, unless you want to measure the height of a building with a barometer. There should be enough ways, which you could average and find the mean, giving you a passably accurate result. Though I don't usually go for results that cannot be found down to the micron.

IE Pointers If you're looking for a good pub joke, this is NOT the place to go. If you're looking for a bad pub joke, apparently we have the world's largest collection. It started out much like Custom Actions in Outlook with someone looking for some sort of technical answer, which was obviously sadly misguided.

Haven't seen this error before. Started as a discussion about an error message on the net, turned into a discussion about various things web related. Also was about as organized as the WWW. Including Exchange rate sites, Flash/non-flash, Flash's furniture buying habits, Deer populations in the US, and the best hamburger. Most importantly we got a peek at Dr. Spinola's salary. No we understand how he can afford that estate.

THG is either sold or dumb Started as a newbie dissing Tom's Hardware. We actually kept on topic for like two posts. Then moved onto something, infinitely more interesting. Buying 21" inch monitors, and how to lift them. WAVEGIRL, and SGF took a brief shot at men and their desire to make things "better."

Burn her at the stakeholder pension Was the high volume thread of the week. Most of the discussion was between Cupid and NewOriginal. All sorts of Political type talk. Funny, as I may have mentioned before, nobodies mind was changed, even after days of discourse. Funny that. Hermie and myself tried to off-thread the topic, talking about cars, we were firmly ignored. At this point Wavegirl got heavily involved. Still no opinion changes. Hermie and I gave it another go, to no avail. The politico talk continued on for another day. Then with a combined assault. Music on one side, and an inside job attacking with a weird technical question by cupid, on the other. The thread finally died a needed, if lingering, death. We should all listen to Thermionic on this.

Uncle Frank speaks on religion If anyone can figure out what is going on in this thread, drop me a line. I can't make heads or tails of it.

My General World View is... That long sigs are bad, at least that's what the thread started out as. It rambled on for a moment, until SDMAHANEY came back talking about wanting to do a sequel to Private Benjamin.

Weird week, lots of rambling. Frnht seems to be talking allot about some, yet to be determined, Unix manual. We all new he's had a hard time sleeping, posting on the forum late into the night even here in the land of the Yankees. As of late his posting has slackened. We reckon that Unix manual is doing its job. i.e. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
