THE MAN WHO OWNS the Itanic web site has come into his own over the last 24 hours following Intel's decision to can the Tejas microprocessor, first revealed in the INQUIRER.

Nathan Brookwood is an analyst from Insight 64. He's a very nice and knowledgeable chap who once told the INQUIRER that if supermarkets covered the IT market, our rag would be at every checkout, and he has hit Google big time over the Tejas cancellation, this search reveals.

He beats another chip analyst, Peter Glaskowsky. A search for him on the Tejas story only brings up 87 results for "Peter Glaskowsky Intel".

Intel-hq-in-santa-clara One of our favourite Tejas quotes from Nathan is that combining two CPUs into one package was like putting two cylinders in a car instead of having just one. Single cylinder CPUs run too hot.

Nathan is quoted about 96 times, according to Google.

Our favourite quote from Peter is that "the cancellation is simply stunning".

We've decided to sign up for the latest news on Nathan Brookwood Intel and Peter Glaskowsky Intel with Google News Alerts. We'll keep you posted on how the race to get quoted is going. µ
