GETAC HAS UNVEILED its B300 notebook designed for harsh weather conditions and inhospitable environments – making it perfect for military, marine and coastguard use, the firm reckons.

This notebook is pitched for use in salty environments – as it includes stainless steel screws, and sealed I/O caps and doors.

The B300 also offers an optional Sunlight-Readable LCD display of 1200cd/msq, night vision and a black-out mode – all aimed at military and marine use.

Battery life is 12 hours making it useful where there is no power source. µ
