Palit is Nvidia's biggest customer

Special relationship

A RELATIVELY unknown graphic company Palit is the king of Nvidia chip market. It is the biggest customer and gets some preferential treatment out of the green boys.

Palit is one of the few graphic companies - if not the only one - that can buy Nvidia's chipset without a memory. Usually you buy the graphic chip and the memory from Nvidia and then you have to take care of production, PCB and components.

Palit gets the chips from Nvidia but buys its memory elsewhere and manages to end up cheaper than anybody else. This ha caused a lot of troubles for Nvidia's card partners, as it makes life harder for them.

Palit has been known to help out Gainward and has some business ties with this rather well-known European brand, but Palit really rocks the Asian market. ยต
