MOBO MAKER Abit said it has introduced the KV7, a motherboard for AMD microprocesors which uses the Via KT600 chipset.

It supports DDR 400, and a 400MHz front side bus, and comes with overclocking features, the firm said.

According to Abit, the KV7 board is positioned at users who want "pure" performance, and it contrasts it with the NF7-S, which it describes as the ultimate AMD platform. This board uses the Nforce 2 chipset and supports dual DDR.
