The system, dubbed the B2881, can accommodate up to four 3.5-inch bays with hot swapping on Serial ATA or on U320 SCSI.
It comes with what Tyan describes as a full frontal suite, ooh er missus, of LEDs, dual USB ports and a slight CD-ROM drive.
It also has two PCI-X expansion ports, a 400 watt power supply, and the chassis is 26.5-inches deep, although you'll have to ask Lord Howe what that is in centimetres.
The bare bone thing uses the Thunder K8SR board, and goes into mass production in the middle of this month. ยต
