AFTER A FORCED week break, yours truly enabled e-mail on desktop machine and the wibble has returned. To start with a fresh aproach, Techgage brought a review of Logitech's G9 Laser rat. This is probably the first review of the successor of G5 and MX-518, so it might pay to check this one up. However, seeing a $100 price tag definitely cooled me down.

In case you need some portable storage, BootDaily showed up with a review of SimpleTech's 500GB USB2.0 External drive.

Cooling a computer down isn't the only thing important to a computer owner. One of the precious things we learn to appreciate in the heat of the night is noise produced by various computer components, most notably fans and hard drives. Tech Report recently tested Hitachi's Deskstar 7K1000 and found it to be a rather noisy experience. This time around, the lads have tried to silence the drive. How did it go - check out here.

OverClockersClub started a five-piece series on building a Danger Den Water Box Plus, and you can find Part I here and Part II can be found here.

Ultra X3 600W power supply got reviewed over at RBmods, spotting interesting features from engineering division in this fast-rising company. If you're looking for something more dumbed down, Gigabyte's ODIN rated at 550W got a review over at OC Workbench.

But for those that feel how 600W won't make the cut, DriverHeaven addressed the needs of power rig owners and reviewed OCZ ProXstream 1000W, same power supply that powers my Intel V8 rig.

BCChardware stayed in tune with Ultra and reviewed Grid ATX case, decent chassis with affordable price. This is not an earth-shattering case, but still an interesting product for people on the budget. If you want something different, bit-tech posted a review of Cooler Master Cosmos, another interesting case from this taiwanese manufacturer.

IT-Review showed up with a shootout between ATI and Nvidia mainstream cards, around 10 of them. Sapphire and Gigabyte showed up with 2600XT GDDR4 boards, ASUS and PowerColor sent 2400Pro and 2600Pro. Additional 2600XT GDDR3 board was provided by GigaByte and of course, all of this got compared to Nvidia GeForce 8500GT, 8600 GT and GTS boards.Second article from these lads was a review of Gigabyte's 690G in a new revision. This board spots interesting upgrades, available to owners of 1st gen boards with a BIOS update.

Legit Reviews published looking back article, this time focusing on AMD Athlon processor series. This series changed the way how we think and know AMD for, so a look back before Barcelona and Agena show up is appriciated.

Canon i-Sensys LBP5360 is a compact A4 colour laser printer, and this printer came under scrutiny of BIOSmagazine.

For the end of today's wibble, we're bringing you a new piece from Photoshop 101 articles over at HardwareLogic. This time, a guide how to convert a colour photo into Black & White appeared on the site.
