AirLive launches "ideal pr0n drive" - blush

THE BIT TORRENT PROTOCOL has excited the hardcore enthusiast market and is now entering the mainstream.

That's not only because of the on-line services that are using BitTorrent p2p protocol, but also several hassle-free different hardware devices, such as KillerNIC network card and now, something even niftier, an external hard disk box.

"This is an ideal box for sharing entertaining videos in student dorms, and your adult collection won't suffer", Dan adds

Dan Forster recently left Sapphire and now decided to come to market with wicked ideas, and we saw several products which really push the envelope when it comes to network invention. One of first products that are coming to market now are a hard drive box with iTunes File Server and BitTorrent client for seamless file sharing and acquiring content without having your PC turned on.

There is also an 802.11n version in the works, but the launch version features TurboG (125 Mbit/s) WiFi with sufficient cooling to stream videos from the hard drive. If you combine this device with Hitachi's 1TB hard disk, several users can stream videos simultaneously, but this is more of a gimmick.

Since this poor journo has been living between planes and hotels for the past month, having a device such as this one can definitely help you out to catch episodes of your favourite show even though you are 11000 km away from the place where your TV resides. ยต
