Compuvest is selling the States' lowest priced colour laser printer at $250. It is an ol' HP Colour Laserjet 1500 with a printing speed of 16ppm comined with a 600dpi resolution. It is massive at 25Kg and will take desk space. With 16MB memory and a monthly duty cycle of 600 pages per day, it will churn through your printing chores without breaking a sweat.

Buy.com has some good deals for us. First a 20-inch LCD TV display for only $399.99 from SVA, the VR-20. It is new and does not require a Mail in rebate. It has a component, S Video, Composite and D Sub input. Two speakers lie on both sides and its 24-bit colour depth matches its competitors. For the rest; v-chip included, progressive scan and 400:1 ratio.

Then' there's that large format colour printer from HP for only $250 including free shipping. The Deskjet 9600 uses 6-inks for better printing and accepts up to A3 sheets. On top of that it has a resolution of up to 4800dpi and can print at up to 15ppm. it is equipped with a USB2.0 port.

Newegg has a refurbished Sapphire X300SE graphics card for sale. It is a PCI-express model with 128MB memory. It has a S-video Out and 64-bit interfaced 400MHz clocked video. It might not be a spectacular card but it will probably be much better at games than any integrated graphics module out there. $39 including free shipping.

From experience, memory upgrade is often the best thing you could get for your system. I set out to find out the cheapest laptop with a decent amount of memory for Windows XP i.e. 512MB. Turns out that on Ebay, there's a Dell Latitude C600 on sale for only $325. It comes with a P3 750 with Speedstep, 512MB memory, 10GB HDD, a separate 8MB ATI mobility chip, a 14.1-inch TFT screen and the usual stuff. OS is Windows 2K. Very good buy.

His geekness, Mr Geek, is selling a MSI Megaplayer 515 USB FM MP3 voice recorder with headset for only $51. Many things differentiate this one from other such players. It come form a well known brand, it is WMA compliant and has an OLED display. The earphones are far from rubbish and it packs up to 15 hours playing time. µ
