Microsoft chatting about buying Ebay

That's the plan reckons Murdoch organ

THE New York Post has confirmed that Microsoft has been involved in top secret discussions to buy eBay.

Apparently the Vole wants to merge eBay into its MSN portal as part of its war on Google.

Talks have slowed down of late because executives on both sides are a little worried that there might be a few anti-trust issues to consider. Once someone gives them an informed legal opinion then they will start up again, claims the Post.

A deep throat in eBay said that the talks were put on Microsoft's front-burner only recently, while merger talks with Yahoo! were being looked at. However Supreme Vole Bill Gates decided that Yahoo! was a content company than a tech company and he didn't want to merge with any stinkin' content company.

We must never forget that Rupert Murdoch owns the New York Post . µ
