HP's Shane Robison joins NextIO

LIKEABLE clubbable Shane Robison, the chief technology officer for HP, has joined the board of directors of Next IO.

Robison was soaked up after HP took over Compaq.

Next IO claims to be developing a next generation chip used for future enterprise class servers, but it won't say much about these to you unless you sign a non disclosure agreement.

It's working on blade server architecture and is based in Austin, Texas. µ
