PC PERSPECTIVE and Ryan have tested the Aopen XC Cube EY855-II Pentium M SFF. This Pentium M only System features the i855GME chipset and therefore is one or two generations behind in terms of performance and the SFF and the CPU alone will cost you probably around $800; not cheap at all.

Phoronix checks a Mini Portable HDD Enclosure, the ULT31310 from Ultra Products. Nothing really sets this 3.5-inch HDD enclosure apart from other models available on the market though. It can stand right and has some cool lights but apart from that... Nothing much.

HWZone Israel plays with one iRiver M3L MP3 player. First of all, it has a very impressive battery life of 35 hours, almost three times the iPod's, whle weighing only 10g more than Apple flagship product. It comes with complete playlist support and two headphones. HW IL gives it a 95% score, so it can't be that bad.

GOGnet tests the XG Extreme MOD kit, which basically gives you ibn a box all the tools that you need to transform your computer into a modders dream PC. From reactive floppy cable to ultra ATA cables with double sided tape and spot light. You have pretty much everything. But the price is still unknown.

BIOSmagazine provided us with two reviews. The first one is the http://www.biosmagazine.co.uk/rev.php?id=275Dell Inspiron 9300, a Pentium M powered 17-inch business Laptop which comes with PCIe graphics and a Sonoma Chipset. The one tested had a 80GB Hard disk drive, a Dual layer DVD writer and 1GB of 533MHz DDR2 memory. You can also choose between the X300 or the Geforce GO 6800 depending on your needs. Only things that might bother are the short battery life and the flexible plastic chassis. The other laptop they tested is the hHP Pavilion zv5000 which is a 15.4-inch Athlon 64 widescreen laptop. It comes with a very low end GPU, the Geforce 4 440Go - so low end that even Intel's newest integrated graphics beat it. It has a good battery life and a good price but no WiFI.

The Sony Playstation Portable has been tested by Hexus and Iceteks. Apart from its gaming background. The PSP can also be used to some as a portable media player though it falls short of something like the iPod. It comes with WiFi, IR and other multimedia functionalities Product quality is still an issue especially for the price paid. Also sticking to MS sticks was probably not the better of decision. Only the Gizmondo might give it a run for its money, except for the lack of games. µ
