AN INDIAN call centre employee has been arrested after he allegedly used credit cards details of US customers to buy things she liked on the world wide web.

Police claim that Sulagna Ray, 23, was nicking the credit card information while selling US punters a television service.

They say she spent $4000 dollars using other people's credit cards to buy an air-conditioner, microwave, cosmetics, saris, jewellery and chocs.

Syssoft started to complain about fraudulent purchases made through its e-commerce website and contacted Inspector Knacker of the Yard.

Ray worked for Jaishree Infotech, an Indian company handling work for another US e-commerce website. Police tracked her through the delivery address the thief used for the swag.
