American town sold on Ebay

More crazy auction action
Thu Dec 26 2002, 12:25
WE NOTICED ON AMD Zone there's more Ebay tomfoolery afoot.

This time, a whole town in California is up for auction, although you've only got until tomorrow to join in the action.

Bridgeville, in California, was founded in 1871, and according to the seller is an entire working town complete with back hoe, tractor, restaurant, post office, an Indian burial site, a school, an an area called the Chinese Camp.

Through Bridgeville runs the Van Dusen river, and you get a mile and a half of this desirable tributary.

You also get a 24 thousand gallon reservoir, a historic cemetery, a bridge, and your own zip code.

The town needs a bit of work done on it, say the vendors, and there's pictures on the Ebay site, here. AMD Zone is here. µ
