Dell sneaks out ultra portable gaming machine

XPS is X-tra tiny
Tue Jun 05 2007, 09:52
DETAILS OF Dell's XPS M1330 have started to leak onto the interwibble, in what is sure to be a torrent, soon enough.

XPS is Dell's high-end/enthusiast brand, and has previously appeared on its 17" monster gaming notebook. The 1330 is rather a different affair, but ticks all kinds of boxes when it comes to new high end kit.

Configuration options for the Santa Rosa-based machine include an LED backlight for the 13" widescreen, a 32GB solid state drive, a slot-loading DVD-RW, GeForce Go 8400, cellular wireless for Verizon, Sprint et al, as well as an HDMI output for connection to modern fat panels.

Those are some nice options, and are sure to make this high on the high-end road warrior's list of awesome things to have.

There are some spy shots of the notebook over here, so have an ogle and wait for the offical information and the sure-to-cause-a-stir pricing. Alienware who? µ
