Rabbit holds gun to Nevada Highway Patrol's head

Eva Glass' furry friend on death row
Tuesday, 2 May 2006, 08:48
THE SMALLEST WABBIT in the USA is holding a gun to the Nevada Highway Patrol's head after a wireless SNAFU that saw cops on the tail of my ex-girlfriend Eva Glass.

The INQ lass cheesed off the Smoky Bears after they put a price on her head for scoffing at their inability to operate a legal radio system.

See Radio SNAFU: Nevada Smokie Bears are on Eva Glass' tail.

But the Highway Patrol is having certain difficulties implementing a proper radio system and one of Eva's little furry friends is causing big problems for the cops.

According to the Las Vegas Sun , the cops are having trouble covering the entire area using radio because the Bureau of Land Management won't allow them to dig lines because that would bring fell danger to Eva's endangered pygmy rabbit bandit friend, Brachylagus idahoensis.

If there were lines that evil hawks could sit on, they would swoop down on Eva's rabbits and snaffle them all up, every one.

Help-Top cop Dave Hosmer told the Sun that there are spots where the Smoky Bears can't get radio contact. The wabbit is holding up progress.

Still, it may all be somewhat academic because according to a release by the government of Nevada, little Brachy is on death row anyway. µ
