Pictures of him everywhere

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL ran an interesting profile of the boss of Hon Hai (Foxconn) over the weekend who appears to run his company like a dictator.

Terry Gou (56) has kept a low profile outside the firm and told the Journal that he hates the fact he's become famous. Not that he is famous, mind you.

The firm's Shenzhen plant is the centre of a biz which produces both Nintendo Wiis and Apple Ipods and Iphones. Hon Hai has 270,000 people working for it.

According to the Journal, Gou wears a bracelet that used to belong to Genghis Khan, "his personal hero", while around the Longou factory are big images of him. He's also prepared a leaflet called "Gou's Quotations".

"A leader must have the decisive courage to be a dictator for the common good."

Nice. µ
