First of all, it just launched a two-gigabyte arrangement of Twin 2X2048-8500C5 memory that works at 1066MHz, at 5-5-5-15 timings and a TWIN2X2048-6400C4 that supports 4-4-4-12 timings, both supporting Enhanced Performance profiles. This is the new stuff that Nvidia and Corsair came up with and should make your memory run faster if you use Nvidia and Corsair's dream combination.
This memory is optimised for the just-announced Nforce 590 chipset and AMD AM2 CPUs and is available today.
But there's more, as the company just announced a new TWIN2X2048-6400C3 2GB kit and this is the first DDR 2 800 memory that can work at amazing 3-4-3-9 timings. It is the world's first CL 3 DDR 2 memory shipping in volumes. This memory also supports EPP (Enhanced Performance Profiles) and can be called SLI-ready.
This memory will cost you quite a lot but it is already available at Overclockers.co.uk here. Don't dream dreams that it will cost pennies, you will have to spend a massive £352.44 including VAT for gigs of the fastest memory around. But that is the price of the lowest-latency, fastest memory available to date. You will at least get a life-time warranty for it. µ
