IA32 has a different can of worms - Bob Colwell, former chief architect at Intel
THE INQ will be having its seventh birthday party on the 6th of March 2008 and on this occasion Mad Mike Magee and Martin “Veitchmeister” Veitch will also be, er, "toasted" because they’re both off to pastures new.
The event kicks off at 6:30PM at the Blue Posts, at the junction of Broadwick Street and Berwick Street in steamy Soho – and it’s gonna be held upstairs.
All readers, fiends from Hermit’s Kave, friends, vendors, PR bunnies and colleagues are invited to the bash, which promises to be the IT event of the year.
If you are a ligger, we have hired 12 bouncers from Nagaland who are set to ask you a series of trick questions. If you answer correctly, you get to be in with the out crowd.
In case you can’t find the Blue Posts, here’s a l’inq to where it is. µ
I was sooo looking forward to tonight and finally meeting some of you people I have been talking to for years and never met. After the day I have had, I am in badly need of a stiff drink (been trying to deal with a wonderful national telco company to get such a simple thing as a phone line put in in less than a month - need I say more) but am unable to make it. Sniff sniff. But now I am back in Blighty, I am hoping there will be lots more occasions such as this. Have a great Bday the Inquirer.
