TEN PEOPLE at a radio station were fired after hosting a competition for a Nintendo Wii which ended in a woman dying.

The End (KDND, 107.9FM) held a water drinking competition and were apparently aware of the dangers of water intoxication, according to the Sacramento Bee.

The Bee said that apart from the 10 being fired, the Morning Rave show has been canned.

The same newspaper said today that the radio hosts knew of the dangers of drinking too much water. µ
