EVE ONLINERS will be pleased to know the Trinity update won't now duff up their systems.
Icelandic Eve developer CCP confessed becoming aware of an "issue" shortly after the deployment of the update. "A small percentage of our users may have been affected and now need to make repairs to system files, " it said in a statement.
A new build is now available and is safe for all users to download and install.
The statement continues: "Users who are running Microsoft Windows versions other than Vista, with multiple hard drives (or multiple partitions on any hard drive) and began downloading the Premium graphics content before 04:00 GMT on Wednesday, December 6, should visit this link and follow the inst ructions given to correct any potential system issues."
This has been a public service announcement. µ

No linux or mac here: I use XP for gaming and Vista for dreaming about what should have been dx10 gaming. Vista also gives me plenty of Micro$oft FUD ammo.
Nonsense. The public this announcement is supposed to serve is either technically incapable of reading the announcement because the PC is dead and won't boot, or is glued to Eve Online and therefor also incapable of reading the announcement because of not looking at it.

:-)
Ok i'd just like to see a show of hands of those people who are running Windows who have it on a secondary drive or partition? Seriously this public service announcement really only applies to linux and mac users who use Windows as a secondary gaming OS.

Requirement number 3: You must have Windows installed not on the primary partition.
or
You must have at least 2 hard disks and the OS must be installed NOT on the primary, but the secondary hard disk.
