Dell opens third Indian call centre

Channel Confirms eastern Europe factory plan

Dell OPENED A 300 strong call centre in Punjab, India yesterday.

Dell plans to expand the workforce to 1,500 by the year's end, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The company employs 7.000 people in India.

Seemingly supporting the theory that the further east from the Dell factory in Limerick, Ireland one gets, the fewer Dell customers you'll find, the paper reported that the man himself yesterday confirmed plans to build a factory in Eastern Europe. But he refused to give the location. µ
