AMD drops FB-DIMMs

They are gone, wiped, no longer pining for the fjords. With this, and Intel's pullback, it looks like the tech is about to be put out to pasture, I can't see how any AMB maker can justify investment at this point.

It is a pity, FB-DIMM is a neat tech, and they gave out spiffy robot-guy keychains to promote it. µ
