CHINESE MANADRINS' attempts to stop people from playing too many games online seem to have had a limited effect after another player died after playing for three days straight.

According to the Beijing News the man, 30, from the southern town of Guangzhou, was taken to hospital from the Internet cafe. He died having run out of hit points.

The cause of death seems to be exhaustion as he had been playing the game for three days without a break, the reports said.

China has been ordering Internet cafes to limit the amount of hours people spend online. However this case seems to indicate that people have been able to circumvent the directives issued from Party Headquarters.

There is some more on this serious matter here. µ
