Motorola, Excite sell off family slivers

IN RATHER DEPRESSING news for the start of the year, Motorola, Excite and AngioTrax are auctioning off a heap of kit.

Motorola, which had a truly bad 2001 ending in massive job cuts, is selling off oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, logic analysers, signal generators and other kit on the 7th of February. ( Here).

Excite has a heap of computers, servers, office furniture and routing kit and the like at the end of January ( Here).

And Angiotrax - which specialises in patents for heart disease, is selling off a portfolio of patents under sealed bids on the 14th of February (a href="http://www.dovebid.com/Auctions/AuctionDetail.asp?auctionID =1044" target="_new">Here).

All of the equipment and patents are being sold through Dovebid. ยต
