600 MHz core 1400 MHz memory

THE X1950 PRO aims to be one of the hottest deals this September. ATI worked hard to finish up its 80 nanometre line and despite a quarter delay of the all 80 nanometre chips, it is finally shaping up for release of the RV570 based card.

This card will work at 600MHz core and 1400MHz memory and will support full blown 256-bit memory interface. ATI plans to launch it in September and we know that chips have sampled for quite some time.

The volume shipping is late September. This card will have 24 pixel Shader pipelines and will support cable less Crossfire. For $199 it sounds like a great deal. µ
